I have been on both sides. That is why my approach is different.
I am Ruwi, an AfN registered nutritionist, based in London and coaching entirely online. I work with women who are tired of dieting and restarting, and who want food to stop feeling like the enemy.

My story.
Growing up, I was uncomfortable in my own body. I hid in baggy clothes, dreaded summer, and compared myself to other girls, convinced my body was something I needed to fix.
At 14, I decided to lose weight. Without the right guidance, I did what the world tells you to do: eat less, cut things out, control everything. I developed anorexia, and it took me years to find my way out.
Recovery taught me something no textbook could. Restriction does not build anything lasting. It just postpones the problem. And the moment the rules are gone, the old patterns come straight back, because nothing underneath has changed.

"A diet tells you what to do for 30 days. It does not change who you are."
Ruwi
What I learned from recovery, and from working with women.
Most women who struggle with their weight do not have a knowledge problem. They know what to eat. They have read the articles, followed the accounts, tried the plans. What they have never done is build the daily habits that make it stick without effort.
When a plan ends, the old patterns come back, because the person doing the eating has not changed.
That is the shift I work on with my clients: building the version of you who eats this way without having to try so hard.
- Three balanced meals land in her day without much thought, and the protein takes care of itself with no gram-counting.
- A craving for something sweet stays a craving, handled in the moment instead of turning into a spiral.
- Wine, pasta and chocolate are all on the menu, because she understands how they fit.
- Friday dinner out happens, and Saturday is not spent compensating for it.
- One imperfect evening stays an evening, and Monday is just Monday.
- Movement happens most days because it has become part of how she lives, with no punishment attached.
That is what leaving the all-or-nothing mindset looks like day to day.

How I measure progress.
The women who work with me experience the weight loss journey differently. Because alongside nutrition, I teach them to track progress beyond the scale: how they move, how their energy feels, how they are improving at the gym, how naturally healthy habits are becoming part of their everyday life.
I also work on mindset. Understanding that weight fluctuations are normal, that progress is not linear, and that one imperfect week does not undo everything. When that clicks, the whole journey changes.
What working together looks like.
My clients come to me for nutrition and leave with something they did not expect: they stop worrying about food. It goes back to being something to enjoy instead of something to manage.
I am the person they message when they slip at a dinner and want to skip the next meal, and the one who tells them to get back on track tomorrow.
I know the science, and I know what this feels like from the inside. For a lot of women, that combination is what has been missing.
"That is not a failure. That is a Tuesday."

1:1 only
I work with a small number of clients at a time. No group programmes, no auto-pilot.
What I don't doThe opposite of diet culture.
- Crash diets, juice cleanses or 30-day resets.
- Banned-foods lists or good and bad framing.
- Forever tracking every gram in an app.
- Weighing yourself every morning to decide how the day will feel.
- Generic meal plans written for somebody else's week.
