Who I am

This website is owned and run by Ruwi, trading as eatwithruwi, an AfN Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) based in London, United Kingdom. For any privacy question you can reach me at eatwithruwi@gmail.com.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information I collect when you visit https://www.eatwithruwi.com, message me on WhatsApp or email, or work with me as a 1:1 coaching client, why I collect it, how I use it, and the rights you have over it under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What I collect

• Information you give me directly: your name, email, phone number, the messages you send me on WhatsApp, by email or via Instagram, and anything you share with me during coaching (health history, lifestyle, food intake, goals).
• Information collected automatically when you browse the site: basic technical data such as your device type, browser, pages visited and approximate location. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See the cookie policy for details.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiries and arrange a free discovery call.
• To deliver coaching: build personalised nutrition plans, educational material, and follow-up support.
• To keep proper records as required by my professional body (AfN) and UK tax law.
• To improve the website and understand which content is useful (aggregated analytics only).

Legal basis

I rely on your consent for marketing messages, on the necessity to perform our coaching contract for client data, and on my legitimate interest in running and improving the website for basic analytics.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your data. I share the minimum needed with trusted service providers that help me run my business: hosting and analytics (Vercel), email (Google), payments (Stripe), and scheduling. Each one acts as a data processor on my behalf and is bound by their own privacy terms.

How long I keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months. Active client records are kept for the duration of our work together and for 7 years afterwards, as required by UK tax and professional record keeping. You can ask me to delete your data sooner where the law allows.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights email me at eatwithruwi@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Updates to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top tells you when it was last changed. For significant changes I will flag the update on this page.
